PRESS TRIP:MUNICH

What first struck me about Munich is the architecture. Buildings which could/would normally appear "ugly" seemed strangely beautiful and modern, even though many were from the 60s/70s. I know in London buildings like these stand out like a sore thumb but in Munich, it seems everyone lives in them! Perhaps it's helped by the large amounts of greenery in the city? Makes things look nicer doesn't it.

One of the freelance journalists we met had a lovely apartment in the centre of town. Wooden floors, high ceilings, a great mix of vintage pieces and modern finds.

I particularly liked her office space

We ended our day of back-to-back meetings with a yummy meal in the heart of town at a typically German restaurant

duck leg in red wine sauce, potato dumpling, red cabbage

Apple Strudel
